Welcome to my
"Master Piece Collection" VF-1J web site.

I personally love Toynami's "Master Piece Collection" (MPC) VF-1J. It is from the cartoon series ROBOTECH, the Macross Saga. If you have not seen it, I highly suggest you go out and buy the series on DVD, or at least, rent it.

Here is a MPC VF-1J I customized (it is my first custom). I brought out the panel lines, painted the hip bars white, painted the intakes on the chest and brought out some details on the head. I was also able to bring out the details in the shoulders.

This is the one piloted by our hero, Rick Hunter. (I believe VF-1J stands for "veritech fighter series 1 junior officer class")

Enjoy!!! Don't forget to sign my GUEST BOOK = )

Battloid Mode:

The back actually has a lot of little details. I was able to bring those out.

Shoulder details: Low-thrust vernier thrusters and shoulder intakes with some outlining around the search lights.

Great hands!!!

Here is a close up of the details on the legs.

Ready for battle!!!

The good old "Veritech Grab" = )

"Bring it on!"

Check out my Tips Page.  Since I'm a beginner, I know there are many more experienced modelers out there, true masters at what they do, but I have shared some things that I picked up.
